ETAS Connections 2023: Transformation of the automotive industry at the edge

Stuttgart, October 2023

At this years’ ETAS Connections, Francis Chow from Red Hat Inc. and Christian Uebber (CTO, ETAS) gave a very insightful keynote on the future of in-vehicle computing. Specifically, they elaborated how safety-certified Linux (Red Hat In-Vehicle Linux) and ETAS’ domain-specific middleware solution (EDMS) are a perfect combination to address the needs of ADAS / AD applications.

Oliver Emrich, Product Field Architect for AD Cycle at ETAS, gave a live demonstration of EDMS running on CentOS. Based on a practical example, Oliver explains why reproducing the behavior experienced in the vehicle is important for ADAS / AD developers.
